We only stayed one night at the hotel but found it very satisfactory. The rooms were clean, well-stocked and very comfortable. Our only problem was arriving back at half two to find the bar shut, having been told it was open until four, however the night porter was very helpful and delivered a drink to our room. A brief visit was made to the leisure centre the following morning, of which the out door hottub was the highlight, a wonderful hangover cure!
The breakfast was a bit sparse, it did the job but not worth a tenner I thought.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay at Midleton Park Hotel.
Our stay was too short to comment on Q2.
Seems above its class of 3*
Staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Hotel spotlessly clean and food in the restaurant was very good. Breakfast excellent wonderful selection. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely staff there again. Room and bed was extremely comfortable.
Good location. Leisure center nice.
A lot of street noise. Attracts a lot of unruly, loud residents. Not a great place for business travel. Hotel tolerates noisy smoking outside front door and had to ring to complain about this at 1am on a Thursday night (wondering why local residents tolerate the hotel racket). Parking is sufficient for hotel, but not sufficient if there is any kind of event on. One night there was absolutely no parking in the hotel and vicinity and had to park in a residential area close by - this is very unfair on local residents.
Clean warm pretty famly frendly well located...etc. :)
Going to the swimming pool we had to go outside for 2 sec. but with small child- very inconvenient :(
An excellent 3 star hotel. Was pleasantly surprised by the room, it was very big and had a nice design. Short walk into midleton and I especially enjoyed the outdoor hottub in the leisure centre! Great value for money.
The bar felt more like a restaurant which was lovely if you are there to eat but if you just want a quiet drink its a bit awkward as you are sitting at a table that is fully set for dinner. We had a quick drink and went to a bar in the town instead.
I would highly recommend this hotel. The reception staff was very welcoming and efficient, the room was exceptional, the hotel was warm and comfortable, the food was delicious and the leisure facilities were outstanding. Everyone working in the hotel was very helpful and obliging. Every aspect was excellent; I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning again very soon.
The night porter was a great help to all the people that were staying in the hotel
Friendly, no fuss, good facilities, easy access to Cork
I was very impressed by the gym staff...during my 2 day stay I took 5 fitness classes and it was a major plus that these were included with my room rate. The regular gym members I met were also extremely friendly!
Not very much to like about it.
Reception staff was off hand with my husband, the person would not explain how to use the facilities, it was not a warm friendly place we had expected and the location is really not suited to a family getaway. The door to the bedroom seemed to not work properly, the tv had poor reception the food was mediocre.
Rooms very clean, spacious and well equiped. Food in bar excellent and breakfast in restaurant very well cooked and presented. Liked the fact with breakfast you gave a decent size pot of tea and a good quality tea rather than the single cup pots which I usually tend to get.
This is being pickey but the room I had overlooked the spa, and there were three guys in the spa at around 21:30. I had been staying there on business and wanted an early night as exhausted, but I could hear the guys laughing and talking. Maybe better windows to block out noise could be an option
Its location, the staf,the rooms
Twin room/double room turns out to be double ,not clear on booking form.I Had to wait while they made up another room, which turned out to be another floor up,could be avoided with abetter layed out booking form.
